Simon is Burson’s Global Chief Creative Officer, leading the agency’s creative offering globally, both with clients and across the agency’s sectors and specialties.

Simon previously served as the Global Chief Creative Strategy & Innovation Officer at Hill & Knowlton, spearheading a creative transformative agenda bridging strategy, creativity, content, media and data on a global scale.

He joined Hill & Knowlton in 2014, as Chief Creative Officer for the London office, initiating a business and cultural change program. Under his leadership, the agency embraced a new positioning and honed innovative creative processes and skills.

In 2019, Simon’s role expanded globally as he formulated a creative transformation strategy that gave rise to eight Innovation & Creative Hubs across the Hill & Knowlton network. These hubs house specialized expertise in content and publishing strategy, data & analytics, behavioral science, digital planning & optimization, creative direction and creative strategy.

Simon has considerable international experience and has worked extensively in the Middle East advising clients, including Saudi mega-projects such as King Salman Park. Before the pandemic, he split his time between the U.S., China, and Europe, fostering relationships with clients such as Huawei, Wanda, LG, Envision, Coca-Cola, Ford, Mazda and Honor.

Before joining H&K, Simon held significant creative leadership positions, including roles at Exposure, Good Relations, and Imagination. He has been a speaker and a judge at such world-renowned creative events as the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the D&AD, where he served as jury president. Simon has consistently ranked among the top 10 creative leaders in PRWeek's evaluations.

In addition to his career in communications, Simon is an awarded architect, holding architectural degrees from the University of Edinburgh and University College London. Simon continues to drive innovation, creativity, and strategic excellence at Burson, helping shape the future of global communications.
