More About Robin Heymann
Robin leads the Sport and Entertainment team at Burson delivering a range of marketing services for key local and international clients working alongside Saudi Arabia.
He has over 14 years of communications, marketing and sponsorship experience working across high profile sport sponsorships, broadcasters, governing bodies and wider consumer brands.
Since 2022 Robin has overseen the delivery of the Al Ula Moments team advising RCU on strategy and ideation as well as working on major history-making announcements and talent – such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Rafael Nadal and Kelly Slater.
A key achievement has been growing Burson’s golfing portfolio to a year-round global set of tournaments covering all the major golf tours internationally. He has been part of history making inaugural live events in Saudi Arabia including the Diriyah Season, tennis and destination events such as AlUla Moments. He’s worked for brands such as Aramco activating their Formula One Global Partnership. He has played a key role in growing work with the Saudi Esports Federation on their multi-awarding winning ‘Gamers Without Borders’ initiative – the world’s largest charity esports event – and part of the team to deliver Gamers 8 - the world’s largest gaming and esports event
Before joining Burson, Robin worked in the UK for BT and BT Sport - creating and delivering strategic PR across a broad portfolio of sports broadcast rights, partnerships, consumer technology products and bespoke events. Robin has also worked rights holder side for the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), where he was responsible for enhancing cricket’s reputation through the England teams, domestic competitions, commercial partners and wider stakeholders. Prior to the ECB, Robin worked for CSM Sport and Entertainment in London, with a primary focus of managing global communications around the Diageo /Johnnie Walker Formula 1 sponsorships across 20 international markets.
Robin’s specialities include creative brand/sponsorship strategy, campaign planning, event management, media relations, content marketing, talent management and stakeholder relations.
