Devin Yoon is a Senior Vice President at Burson with over 20 years of PR, marketing and media experience across diverse industries such as IT, B2B and consumer products. Upon joining H&K 12 years ago, he first led a team of 14 people managing corporate, marketing communication and digital activation for LG Electronics.

He spearheaded all of their product launches, exhibitions, content development, influencer management, crisis and issue management and handled media relations and activations. He worked closely with the LG HQ to function as hub agency office working with 18 countries globally. Devin provided sound counsel and strategic guidance to protect corporate reputation and promote products including digital devices, IT, B2B solutions, home appliances and mobile handsets. ​

After five years of successful team leadership managing LG Electronics, Devin took over the important corporate and marketing communications role, handling Chanel, leading global security brand, Northrop Grumman and global major financial corporation, Anbang Group. He provided overall reputation management consultation, content development, and issues and crisis management work from political to labor and M&A issues. Devin also took charge of BASF-related media, dealing and SNS management, executing a range of online/offline events.

Recently, he has developed and strengthened the social communications capability on a company level, directing digital projects for Coca Cola Kora, LG Electronics, LG Energy Solution, LG Display and DL.

Devin started his career as a journalist at Econotalking, Maeil Business Newspaper’s affiliated monthly Economic magazine. Working as an industrial reporter, he handled articles about the economy and a range of industries. Prior to joining H&K, he gained extensive knowledge of online PR and new media through working at one of Korea’s leading digital agency, Digital Ocean, taking charge of accounts such as Intel, LG Electronics and Blizzard as a team leader of the PR department.
