Martine Veldhoen Appointed CEO of Burson Netherlands

Amsterdam, 4 August 2025 - Burson, the global communications agency purpose-built to create value for clients through reputation, today announced the appointment of Martine Veldhoen as CEO of Burson Netherlands. 

Veldhoen joins from Philips, where she was Global Integrated External Relations Director. Prior to that, Martine was Head of Communications for Netherlands and Nordics at Airbnb, overseeing corporate, policy and consumer communications. Her agency experience includes roles as Head of Technology at Edelman Netherlands and Consumer Technology Lead at Edelman EMEA, working with clients such as Samsung, PayPal, and Meta, as well as Head of the Consumer Division in the Netherlands at TEAM LEWIS.

Veldhoen began her career as a journalist before moving into communications, bringing a deep understanding of storytelling, reputation and the media landscape to her leadership roles.
