NEW YORK, August 5, 2024 -- Burson, the global communications leader purpose-built to create value for clients through reputation, today announced that Liz Keller has joined the agency as Executive Vice President, U.S. Strategy Lead, effective August 1. She is based in San Francisco.

Keller brings more than 20 years of experience in uncovering the psychographic and behavioral insights needed to build strategies that earn attention across owned, earned and paid channels and drive business results. Across her career, she has worked with clients in the biotech, consumer packaged goods, consulting, fast food, personal care, pharmaceuticals, security and technology industries.

“Liz is an exceptional strategic leader highly skilled in uncovering the deep human insights that facilitate genuine audience engagement and lead to preference, performance and ultimately strong reputations for brands and organizations,” said Craig Buchholz, U.S. CEO, Burson. “She’s also relentlessly curious, always challenging the status quo and consistently pushing the boundaries of conventional thinking. I’m delighted for her to lead our strategy function in the region and for what she will bring to our clients.”

Keller joins Burson from MSL Global, where she was Executive Vice President, Strategy, serving as a strategic lead and responsible for directing analytics, research, insight identification, audience segmentation, white space analysis, strategic and creative briefs, workshops and go-to-market efforts. Before that Keller spent eight years with Weber Shandwick in several strategy and planning leadership roles, most recently as Executive Vice President, Strategic Business Development, North America, where she led the strategic response to pitches and worked with regional leaders to drive business growth. Earlier, she held senior strategy roles in London with Flipside Group, Friday and Edelman.

“I’m excited to join Burson and to help clients make the powerful associations with their audiences that will drive reputation and, ultimately, business results,” said Keller. “This all comes about when research, planning, data analytics, insights and creative converge to create the connective tissue that builds preference and loyalty. I look forward to joining Burson’s dynamic team and further strengthening its strategic capabilities.”
