NEW YORK, March 17, 2026 – Burson, the global communications leader purpose-built to create value for clients through reputation, today announced that Kristine Boyden, CEO, Americas, has been named a 2026 PRWeek Woman of Distinction. This award celebrates the top female leaders in the public relations industry for their strong leadership, strategic insights and groundbreaking creativity.

"KB and I have known one another for more than a decade, and we always had this dream to work together, so it’s been a privilege to work with her as a colleague and partner in building Burson,” said Corey duBrowa, CEO, Burson. “She offers a rare combination: an expert client strategist, a savvy operational leader and a powerful culture carrier. Not to mention, she’s a quality human being who sets the standard for what it means to be a Burson Person. I couldn't be more thrilled to see the industry formally acknowledge what many of us have known for years."

Boyden oversees Burson’s business across the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Boyden established Burson’s Insights, Data & Intelligence capability, bringing global market research expertise and operational capabilities to Burson’s clients. Before joining Burson, Boyden was Chief Communications Officer at Cruise, the self-driving car technology company, where she led a world-class communications and marketing team to build a trusted brand and prepare Cruise for commercialization. This followed 18 years at Edelman, where she served as president of the US Western Region, leading 650+ colleagues and numerous award-winning campaigns. Prior to that, she led the firm’s global client relationship with HP and was a key architect of Edelman’s approach to serving global clients at scale.

She is a member of the Page Society and serves as a trustee of the Institute for Public Relations, where she contributes her expertise to advance research and professional development in PR. She is also an active member of the International Women’s Forum.

“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized among such inspiring women in our industry,” said Boyden. “I am immensely grateful for the invaluable guidance of so many trailblazing female leaders and colleagues who have been a part of my journey. Returning to agency life at Burson felt like a powerful full-circle moment – the perfect blend of every experience I’ve gathered throughout my career. I’m eager to continue creating an environment where the next generation of communications leaders will stay curious, collaborate and exemplify Burson’s ‘learn-it-all’ spirit.
